• The first IVV walking event in Romania took place in Brasov, 11-12 September, 2010

  11 September 2010 – Brasov City (Kronstadt), 5, 10, 18 km.
  12 September 2010 – Poiana Brasov, 5, 20 km.

The event was organized by the EuroTrainer Association, with the support of Brasov City Hall

The Vice-Presidents of the Internationaler Volkssportverband Raymond Claude and Giuseppe Colantonio attended the event in Brasov.

About 70 participants from Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and Romania, aged 6-70, walked in Brasov and Poiana Brasov 5 km, 10 km, 20 km or 30 km.

Day 1
11 September 2010 – Brasov City

• Short and Medium Course 5, 10 km – low difficulty (walking in the city)
• Long Course 18 km – medium difficulty (walking in the city and ascending/descending Tampa – Belvedere Brasov City)
• Start/Return point: Council Square, corner of Appolonia Hirscher street
• Start: from 08:00 to 12:00 (for 5 and 10 km)
• Start: from 08:00 to 10:00 (for 20 km)
• Return up to 18:00

Day 2
12 September 2010 – Poiana Brasov

• Short Course 5 km – low difficulty, walking in Poiana Brasov
• Long Course 20 km – medium/great difficulty, walking from Brasov-City to Poiana Brasov and back
• Start/return point: Council Square, corner Appolonia Hirscher street
• Start: from 8:00 to 12:00 (for 5 km)
• Start: from 8:00 to 10:00 (for 20 km)
• Return up to 18:00
