This spring Romania inaugurated the opening of the first IVV Permanent Walks (PW) with another event in Brasov.

The event was organized by the EuroTrainer Association, with the support of Brasov City Hall

More than 100 participants from Germany, Luxembourg, USA and Romania, aged 6-70, walked in Brasov and Poiana Brasov 5 km, 10 km or 20 km.

Day 1
28th May 2011 – Brasov City

The medieval circuit KRONSTADT is a 5km walk in Brasov City.

• BEAR’S GLADE (20km) GW 01
BEAR’S GLADE is a 20 km circuit starting in downtown Brasov, going up to Poiana Brasov, then across the ridge of Mt. Tâmpa and back down to Brasov.

• BELVEDERE SCENIC ROUTE (20km) GW 02
The BELVEDERE SCENIC ROUTE is a guided walk that includes the CITADEL 10km trail, and the ascension of Mt. Tâmpa.
