Walks
Permanent Cultural Walking Trails in Bucharest, Târgoviște and Cluj-Napoca – supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the National Bilateral Fund – will be available annualy between 1 April and 31 October starting with 2017. Maps, start cards and record books will be available by contacting local IVV walking clubs.
EuroTrainer Association also organizes IVV Guided Walks (GW) in Bucuresti, Brasov, Poiana Brasov and Sibiu.
The Guided Walks are available on request – please make sure to contact us – at least 10 days in advance!
INTERBELLUM BUCHAREST (10 km) PW 01
The circuit Interbellum Bucharest is a 10 km walking trail along and around the Kiseleff Road (Soseaua Kiseleff).
The trail starts from Victory Square (Piaţa Victoriei) and goes towards the House of Free Press (Casa Presei Libere). The circuit includes numerous museums such as the Village Museum, The Romanian Peasant Museum), parks (Kiseleff and Herăstrău Park), grand residences, and the Triumphal Arch (Arcul de Triumf).

KRONSTADT (5km) GW 02
The KRONSTADT circuit is a 5km walking trail in the Medieval Brasov City.
Main tourist attractions: Council Square, The Black Church, The White Tower, Graft Bastion, The Black Tower, Catherine’s Gate, Schei Gate, Rope Street, The Weavers’ Bastion

THE CITADEL (10 km) GW 03
The circuit THE CITADEL is a 10km walking trail in the Medieval Brasov City.
Main touristic attractions: Council Square, The Black Church, The Citadel, The White Tower, The Graft Bastion, The Black Tower, Catherine’s Gate, Schei Gate, Rope Street, The Weavers’ Bastion

SUN GLADE (5 km) GW 04
The circuit SUN GLADE is a 5 km walking trail in Poiana Brasov Resort.
The trail includes the resort’s main attractions and the most beautiful landscapes.

SIBIU HERMANNSTADT (10 km) GW 05
The circuit SIBIU HERMANNSTADT is a 10 km walking trail in the city.
The trail includes the main touristic attractions: the Large Square, the Brukenthal National Museum, the City Hall, the Catholic Church, the Evangelic Church, the Defense Towers and the Fortress Walls, the Small Square and the famous Bridge of Lies. The “Sub Arini” Park offers pleasant moments to walkers.

CLUJ KLAUSENBURG (10 km) GW 06
The circuit CLUJ KLAUSENBURG is a 10 km walking trail through the city, passing all the main sights.
Main touristic attractions: Transilvanian National History Museum, the Matei Corvin Estate, St. Michael Cathedral, Banffy Palace, the National Art Museum Cluj-Napoca, Assumption Cathedral, the National Theater and Opera House, Tailors’ Tower, Babeș-Bolyai University,
Lucian Blaga Central University Library, Simion Bărnuțiu Central Park, the Casino, the Hungarian Theatre and Hungarian Opera and Elisabeth Bridge.

Participation terms
- The good health of participants is assumed.
- Participants have to comply with the environmental protection rules, to keep clean, to preserve the cultural and natural patrimony.
- Organizers are not responsible for disease, losses or theft.
- Children will be accompanied by adults.
- Dogs are allowed on leash only.
Events take place regardless of weather conditions.
